AA ISN'T GOD

JOHN FARRELL BROUGHT IN A RIGHTY TO FACE DUNN!!!!! WE HAVE DARREN F*ING OLIVER!!! HE WAS BORN FOR THAT SITUATION!!! Why not use him? Because he normally pitches in the 8th inning? Are you kidding me?

Ricky Romero is awful. LEARN TO THROW A STRIKE, AND STOP THROWING EXCLUSIVELY FASTBALLS!!!

Enough about how amazing the Blue Jays organization and Alex Anthopolous are. We dealt a 24-year-old with power and solid defence and a still-decently-high ceiling (Travis Snider) for a meh 27-year-old reliever (Brad Lincoln) who just gave up a 500 foot home run to Adam Dunn and an opposite-field Jack to a guy with 23 career home runs...!!!

AA dealt Halladay for NOTHING. Drabek sucks. Brett Wallace sucks (yes, we got Gose for him, but so far all I can see with Gose is that he's crazy fast with a crazy-bad eye at the plate and little-to-no-regard for relying on anything other than his speed in the outfield). D'Arnaud looks solid, but is injury prone. So we gave up 2 years of the 2nd or 3rd best pitcher in baseball for a catcher who may or may not be good in the majors.

AA dealt Mike Napoli for Frank Francisco. A monster-hitter, passable-defender, at the CATCHER position for a guy who can give you MAYBE 50 innings of above-average relief pitching. WTF is it with AA and relief pitchers!?!?!?

AA just re-signed JEFF "I can't hit to save my own D*K" Mathis for $3million even thought we already have JP and the only piece of the Halladay trade worth mentioning (Travis D'Arnaud) in the minors...who is a CATCHER too...am I on crack? WTF is it with teams and employing Mathis to play regular games for them? Shouldn't a good GM be above that?

AA traded Aaron Hill for Kelly Johnson, rather than just say "hey Aaron, stop trying to hit so many home runs, just go back to hitting line drives and settle for 15-20 homers as opposed to 30." Nope. Quit on him, bring in a lesser player who is worse defensively at a premiuim position, and let Arizona change Hill's approach back to his prime-hitting ways.

AA's good move involves signing Bautista to a below-market contract (duh), and ditching Alex Rios and Vernon Wells. The Vernon Wells trade just makes the Angels' GM look mentally disabled. Even Lloyd Christmas convinced the blind kid to buy Petey from him (if you don't get that reference, you need to watch better movies). The Rios addition-by-subtraction move now looks more like an old-fashioned loss (that's 2 excellent seasons for the White Sox, and despite last season's atrocity he's still netted out to be a positive gain for them).

Also, when EVERYONE of consequence in your system is getting hurt, IT MEANS YOU'RE DOING SOMETHING WRONG!!! I don't know what it is, but maybe you should ditch Dr.Nick Riviera and look into hiring someone who knows how to handle a shoulder/elbow strain. That might be overly simplistic, but SOMETHING has to give when you lose SO MANY games to injury. These guys are 20-year-olds, not 30-year-olds...figure it out...

Yunel Escobar sucks again. Maybe last season was the fluke.

Rasmus looks good...so far...as long as his power keeps up. But his eye at the plate is not good, and that doesn't portend to long-term success...and his defense is whatever...I'd rather have Edwin Jackson.

Anyway, I've had enough of everyone slow-tugging AA and his amazing personnel moves. And I hate Rogers, as a mobile service provide, cable provider, and owner of my favourite team. SPEND SOME MONEY! Get a Prince Fielder! Get SOMEONE! We didn't win in 1992/1993 because we slowly developed unheralded guys. WE BOUGHT MANY OF THEM! The Jays approach is decent, but it needs to be supplemented with FREE AGENT SPENDING...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I hate being a fan of Toronto teams.
